President / Executive Producer
After graduating from CSUN with a degree in Radio/Television Broadcasting, Eric Blum opened his own business in 1981. Initially operating as an ENG company with a client list that included Burger King, Builder’s Emporium, Bob Hope and Sammy Davis, Jr., Eric soon realized that corporate video held great opportunities, both financially and creatively. Eric rapidly gained a reputation as a first-rate director. From there, it was a natural progression to move into the post-production field. Eric opened his first editing facility primarily to accommodate the live productions he directed. His skills in the director’s chair translated well to the editing bay, and thus Eric Blum Productions became a full-service production and post-production facility. Eric now serves in the capacity as Executive Producer for all projects initiated through EBP, working closely with clients in budgeting, scripting and producing.

Working extensively with clients to provide creative solutions for their production and post-production needs, he is experienced in dealing with all types of projects ranging from high-end corporate presentations to broadcast music videos to high definition features, featurettes and electronic press kits.
